You can sell Term, Whole life and certain types of non-variable products.
The Life license provides you with a good foundation to build upon. For example, I started with Term and Whole life and added Annuities to my portfolio. (The Annuities license is relatively easy to get.) I then joined a company that allows me to be a non-captive agent with access to many leading company’s products. In addition, I can now offer my clients access to certain mortgage products and self-directed financial solutions. All of this is built upon the foundation of a Life license.
With this foundation in place, a support network, online training and marketing and the ability to build my business nationwide, there is little need to go for additional licenses as I can offer most clients excellent all-round solutions.
Hope that helps. You are welcome to contact me for more info.

Hey there! To answer your question there are only 2 types of income protection. Term and Cash Value, they can be called many different names such as whole, universal, flexible variable, and they can sell annuities if they are securities lic.
Any life insurance that is NOT an investment – like annuities. But it can vary by state.
A life insurance agent for the most part can sell any life insurance product that is not a variable product. You can have a life license and sell annuities.
