What’s the GOAL? I mean, no dependents, I don’t see why you’d WANT it.
Don’t look at the product, THEN see how it fits in – SET THE GOAL FIRST, otherwise you’re just being sold, NOT buying. If you see the difference.
I ONLY carry life insurance to protect my husband and kids. If they weren’t around – or if the kids were grown – I wouldn’t carry it. That’s my goal.

It’s never necessary to purchase life insurance unless it’s court ordered by a divorce court or something.
Life insurance is for people who want to create an instant estate. The purposes of that estate usually are to take care of remaining family. In your case, this doesn’t apply since it’s only you.
If you want to leave some sort of mark on this world with your passing, you could give the money to an athletic association, or your favorite college football team. Who knows? They may name something after you!
People who love other people buy life insurance. If that doesn’t apply to you, forget it. Enjoy the money while you live. If, on the other hand, there is something that you love, consider it. It doesn’t cost that much, but could make a difference.
    FWIW

Is there anyone who depends on you for financial support?
Also, have you saved enough money to pay off all of your outstanding debt and pay for your final expenses if you die?
If you have money saved, and no one depends on you for financial support, you probably don;t need term insurance.
Do you pay for the life insurance through your employer? If not, you’ve got it good.
It sounds like you have your bases covered for now.
    Bets of luck to you!

It doesn’t make sense if you have no one to give it to. You could always make your benficiary a charity (I think). If you have no other family members, as long as your will states what you would like done on your passing and it is all paid for prior to that happening, I wouldn’t see the need for the life insurance. Despite this question, I hope you have many years to come! :)

Probably not. Usually life insurance is to protect assets you are leaving to beneficiaries or to cover final expenses. Do you have any special interests you would like to see completed. An example could be leaving money to a church you attend, or to a school you graduated from.
I think a more important question might be what if you live? Have you saved enough to live comfortably in retirement and what are your plans should you need long term care? Instead of term life, you may want to consider annuities that provide an income you can’t outlive as well as a death benefit.
