Posted May 23, 2009 – 10:53 pm in: structured settlements FAQMy mom only has 2 $5000 life insurance policies, enough to bury her. She has credit card accounts that will most probably have outstanding balances if she dies (she is 79). Can creditors take the insurance money, leaving me with no money to bury her with?
