Well, you have the right idea but your lacking more information. First you need to take into account your age. Don’t get me wrong, the sooner you can have a policy made out the better, especially if your expecting. The next thing you need to consider is the person you are going to get married with. What I mean by this is that, is this person behind you in purchasing a Life policy to begin with. If your partner is willing; then you can purchase a policy at a better rate for the both of you. One thing you need to know, TERM Life is probably your best and most affordable choice. Consult a Life agent further. I hope that this was of some help.
The right time to buy life insurance is when you have a need.
Obviously, if you are expecting, you have a need for life insurance.
However, if you buy it before the birth of your child it may cost more because child birth is a high risk situation for a mother.
But, you do want to have life insurance to provide financial security and protection for your soon-to-be newborn.
If you do wait, try to purchase a life insurance policy soon after the birth.
Many young families purchase 20 or 30 year level term life insurance to provide protection for their kids until they are grown, or the house is paid off.
I hope that helps. Best of luck with your growing family!
You probly want to wait until after you have the baby. Having a baby is a high risk situation and you may get charged more.
Get a term policy with level premiums for 20 or 30 years. Wait until after you have the baby and get married.
Call your agent or call arouond for some term quotes.
Good Luck.
“Wait until after you have the baby and get married.”

Get insurance ASAP. If something happens to you at delivery, you’ll probably want your child to have a future.
Give the money you would have given to an insurance to a different charity every month … that will be a much better investment in bettering your child’s life. Afterall, what is the good of a bundle of notes if there are no parents, and the world is a mess?
You should have insurance when there are dependents that depend on your income. If you are a stay at home mom, you don’t necessarily need insurance since you aren’t providing income to the household.
YOU ARE GETTING A CHILD OUT OF WEDLOCK, FIRST THING, SECOND, ARE YOU IN NEED OF INSURANCE FOR REAL OR FOR FRAUD.
before you die…or before you have a ‘fender-bender’
You should discuss this with a licensed life insurance agent. You can e mail me at DerikTutt@yahoo.com.
