If I Went To Volunteer Overseas And Got Killed Does That Invalidate My Life Insurance Policy I Have To Cover?

That would probly be covered. Most of the time it is. But read your policy or ask your insurance company or agent.
I would take out a regular level premium 30 year term policy. Mortgage life is a decreasing death benefit. So, make sure you know what you have and see if you need to change what you have now.
We can’t tell, but knowing insurance small print, probably, yes.
