The life settlement industry has evolved beyond the point where most individual investors cannot buy individual policies anymore. You might be able to find some out there, but they could be sketchy in ways that an individual investor might not know about. Trust me, lots of people bought these back in the ’90s and got screwed.
It’s important to have the law of large numbers on your side, and most individuals can’t afford to buy a large enough risk pool or simply have better things to do with their money.
If you are an institutional investor, you probably don’t need to ask the question on Y!A.
